Midwest, don't know what kinda stove you've had experience with, I have a Blaze King manufactured stove, model Blaze Princess which is the smallest airtight they make, I filled it up at 10 pm last nite w/pine, not a hardwood, it burns all nite. I got up 5:45 AM to get boy off to school, nice toasty 70* this morn. Will have to admit did not get that cold last nite, was 10* at my place 6 AM. I am in northeastern part of Oregon. I have never burnt over 3 cord a season, usually start burning in Oct and quit some time in March..... Keith & Shawn
