1) Don't think that anything less than a 1/2 ton will be able to stop that much weight. And any brand is open right now.
2) Diesel would be nice, but I don't think I need it yet. this is just a truck to get me through some farm work, and mowing lawns.
3)Have thought some, and have decided that an extended cab would be nice, but definantly don't want a crew cab, too long with long bed.

As of right now, it is looking like an F150, or Dodge or Chevy 1500. I think these are the only ones I can afford to drive.
