Canada is being rapidly stripped of its old tractors, but that's where you'd find the most BR's and R's. In the US most tractors were row-crops. I just sold a 1940 RC with 2 row cultivator for $950.00. It needed radiator repair and an engine overhaul plus paint and tires. If you don't get other replies, please mail me direct. I know of one or two places that ship JDs and Fordsons to UK and Australia by the container full. My uncle did essentially all his farming with a BR on rubber and a team of horses(1936-56). The overwhelming advantage with the JD is that heritage parts are so readily available, including direct from the dealer. The Case R is a very nice tractor with a smooth running Waukesha engine. However, it is more of a struggle to find restoration parts. It must mean something that JI Case and John Deere were the last two American brands to remain standing. Now Case is also swallowed up. Don't overlook the other small brands such as Allis, Oliver, Minneapolis. Our club is offering a General GG as the prize tractor this year.
