I like winter, I like ice fishing (in a warm shanty), I can get on the snowmobile trail system right from my garage, so I sled to a town for a burger and a beer which I enjoy a lot. The towns I sled to are around 50 miles by trail, so 100 mile day for lunch is a nice trip.
That said, I go to Florida for a two week rifle match (Orange Blossom Regional) at the end of Feb beginning of March, and is a great break. I need to get over to the Florida Flywheelers and check out their doings that are happening about the same time.
It is 0�F right now, I heat with wood, the fire is real cozy. Here is a pic I just took, I appoligize for the quality, I had to lighten and touch it up with the software so it looks kind of crappy, the stove pipe shadow is just that, a shadow.
