Two stage-clutch

Had to split my Ford 801 yesterday and got to looking at the clutch and noticed the drive clutch was about 3/32 thinner than the pto clutch which I understand because I seldom use the pto.
Question is have any of you rebuilt a two stage? The drive clutch looks like a pretty common spline and I"m guessing the high cost of the whole unit is the Large Spline pto clutch, which I don"t need.
I"m choking over the $550 for a rebuilt unit!
