In South Louisiana there are more High Crop tractors than regular. They are used in the sugar cane fields because the crop is planted on rows that can be around 24" high. When the cane starts to grow you need the extra clearance to cultivate the fields. I have driven many different ones over the years and love the HC's. I do not know of any manufacturer that made only Hi Crop tractors, but I may be wrong...
