First off, I am looking to purchase a used tractor in the Washington state area. I notice a number of "importers" importing used Japanese tractors as well as selling new Chinese products.

Does anyone know of the reputations of any of these folks?

I have also seen numerous tractors listed on Craig"s List with seemingly low hours and only a few years old.

What kinds of pitfalls and observations must be made when purchasing used?
