Thought there was just a handful of 4230's made as gassers as the last JD's.That would be the 1972 to 1974 model years.
I'm not certain about the Dubuque/Mannheim utility tractors for the last gasser. Lots of 20 series but getting scarce in the 30 series.
A couple of months ago some "brainwave" was posting a question in the JD area. He wanted to know how to replce the gas engine in his 4230 with a diesel. He had no clue to the collector value. Just about as bright as those who take a rare PS LP console 4020 and convert them to diesel.
Rumour has it there was even a front wheel drive assist LP or two made with PS.
