Sounds like a good diagnosis to me. Having run a Super-A for years, first thought is mesh screen at top of fuel-strainer glass bowl (under tank) may be clogged, or worse, possibly "crud" in the tank has partly blocked the inlet to fuel strainer itself. (Don't forget to turn off the gas valve before fuel strainer bowl removal - with thumbscrew). There's also another mesh strainer inside the elbow fitting which connects the gas line into the carb. I believe the SA and 140 are mostly alike.
