This subject comes up from time to time. All about the new stuff can't hold a light to the old stuff. In my life I have owned 4 fords. 62,79.86 and a 96. For all practical purposes they were the same truck. 1/2 ton, 8' box and 2 wheel drive. Can still buy the same truck today. Each time I get a newer one it does a little better than the previous one.
