Here is why I said what I said. My 97 S10 has electronic 4x4 and I have had nothing but trouble with it. It is supposed to have a 15 amp fuse in it for the 4x4 to work but you have to have a 20 amp in it for it to work properly. And yes, the dealer cannot figure it out! Also I got stuck one time because a vacuum line became disconnected! That one took us two weeks to finally find it under the battery tray! I never have a problem with my 80 3/4 ton with lockouts and MANUAL t-case.
