Hey Richard, I My Self Just Bought The Massey Fergerson 231-2, After Looking And Researching
For Almost A Year. The Only Reason I Went With The 231-2 Instead Of The 240, Was I Bought A Packaged Deal With The 231, If It Was Just The Tractor I Was Looking For By It's Self I Would Had Got The 240,. The Design Is Very Straight Forward, And It's Very Very Simple To Work On, And The Parts When Need Be Are Less Than Half The Cost Of Any Other.
Sigh Very Happy Owner,.!!
Ps.. I Did Have To Raise My Seat Up 7 Inches Because Im 6 And A Half Foot Tall And The Avg.
Polock Is 5 And A Half Foot Tall. I Did This So The Clutch And Brakes Would Be Easier To
Operate. My Knees Were In My Chest.

After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents. A good friend and I were recently discussing our tractor electrical systems when he stated "I figure it all comes back to applying Ohms Law". At this point ... [Read Article]
