Find someone with a totor. You would be surprized how many drivers that would hook on to one "afterhours" for a few bucks. The bad thing about moving them with tractors, VS a Semi/totor is that you have no tuning radius with the tractor, just the slightest turn too sharp, and you have tire imprints in the front of the home! I seen a fellow try to move a 14X70 with a 88 oliver,,,, broke the hitch clean off the tractor. 16x80's are heavy, 14 wides arent so bad,, If you are out in the country, and dont have alot of traffic, have 2 escorts, one in front, one in back, thats Indiana law for 16 wides,,, but without permits, you might get lucky and get away with it, but if your out on the highway, best to find a truck,,, some person always has that cell phone on speed dial ready to nark on you. Trust me, been there,, done that!!! Permits are not expencive,,, do it right other wise they could impound the whole lot of ya! tractor, trailer, escort cars, and fine you, and the owner of the house! ChadS
