Thrower follow up

Rats, I should have asked this in my last post, sorry.

Regarding the purchase of the throwers I just mentioned in my last post (1975 Simplicity/Chalmers 7016H, #169032), I will be buying one or the other "sight-unseen". Though I have seen pictures of each (and both look and are said to be fully operational), what other questions should I ask before committing? Bearings of course, would be one of the questions. But are there are questions I should be asking? I do not believe either has an electric motor and I believe both have all the pulleys, belts etc. But what else, if anything, goes wrong with these systems that I should be asking about before I commit?
