Sid, I like discussions like this. A dead battery is brown bread, dead. This is NOT a discharged battery. A discharged battery is one that has been discharged electrically, but is still functional and will recharge.
A subtle difference to some, but nevertheless a difference.
When someone posts a message as woolly as that, who really knows what they mean, as in this case until a subsequent post clearly indicated it had just been discharged too far.
