I wouldn't say that there are any particular red herring issues to watch for on the 4630, however, at 7000 hours, I would recomend that you give it a damn good hard look over. That's just getting to that stage where anything could be wrong. Check the hydraulics, the transmission synchronizers if it's the 8x8, the front axle....especially if it's been a loader tractor. You could find just about anything. I have a 3930 that's seen a lot of repairs over the years, but it's seen a lot of punishment too. Just look carefully. At 7000 hours, I doubt it's a cream puff.....
