The V6 was not a great engine,about the same as the little Cummins V8's. The cummins inline 855 CU inch 6 is the best,powerfull,reliable and cheap to overhaul at 10,000 + hrs. I have little experience with the Versatile 300 except that others have stated that the hydrostatic drive was not at all reliable. The old Versatile manual trans/dropbox used in the other models was very strong/reliable.
