Here in Western., Pa. I get several every year. I just walk along slowly, into the wind. In 40 years of hunting I have taken most as they get up to see what I am. They are kind of like rabbits. If you jump one and miss it, they will be back in a couple of days, just come back to the same spot. They are not a real smart animal.
