A lot of people are putting 5.9 Cummins's into Olivers, and I have seen advertised in Fastline conversion kits offered to repower most makes (Deere included) of tractors with the Cummins. The 354 Perkins is a fine engine, but it may be easier to get parts and conversion kits for the Cummins. Bets of luck with that.
