I have one of these"s dives implanted about three years ago. So far haven"t had any problems with this. My question: Is there anyone out there that has to have the battery changed? I was told that the life expendiency on this is four to five years depending if it hasn"t been activated? I know the last time I had to have it check out they told me I had a heart rate at one time over 140. Asked me what I was doing at the time. I had know idea? Did tell them it wasn"t from sxx. My arm still sore from where my wife hit me. My neigbor had one and he was telling me that he had a fant beeping noise in his chest. But no else could hear it. Few months later when he was in FLorida his wife did hear the beeping noise. So they went to the hopital down there and they told him he had to have a new Battery put in. Not sure if I heard him right but I think I heard him say the battery cost for this device was around $30,000. But I might of miss under stood him. Sure have a lot of things to avoid on this device. Magnets, air port security, welders, power generators any high powered electrical tools, cellular phones. Thanks for any Info. Mike
