4010 John Deere clutch?

I let my 4010 John Deere set for about a year needing a new head gasket. I finally got around to repairing the head including a new head gasket. The engine is running fine only to find that the clutch would not engage. When it was parked about a year ago the clutch worked fine. I need to know what to do now to get the clutch working like it should. This clutch is a regular manual clutch. I need to be told step by step. Thank You: Boyd
