Missouri Army National Guard, spent almost 12 years total, 83-93, then reenlisted after 9/11, spent about 10 months guarding an ammo plant near Blue Springs, Missouri, off active duty for 6 months, then off to Iraq, spent 7 months in Baghdad. We had 33 purple hearts out of 140 of us, but we were lucky in that nobody was killed. Salute to all you veterans!
