Like others, I've got a pto mounted one. Works well, but spooky.

The tractor ones normally have a retainer bar to catch the wood.

The stickler (still made btw) does not have this bar, and is designed to be used on a truck or such in place of a wheel. You jack the truck up, pop off a wheel, mount the Stickler, and split wood. It leaves you with the distinct ability to have your truck take off down the road on three tires and a log.
