I was pretty young when the 226 was being used, but remember it being a very heavy/ackward machine. It wouldn't lift high enough for the front wheels to turn much, and was a bear to mount. We broke several rear axles on the 44 A running that one. Had several 227's after that and run them on everything from A's through 730's. A B would have a bad time with one of those in this country. 90% of the ground around here is hills and terraces.
