225,000 is a lot, at least I thought so but I have a buddy who has one of those heavy duty GM cargo vans that he delivers packages all over the country with and last week he was back in the area. Looked at the odometer and hit the ground. 450,000 miles! Absolutely only thing he has changed were the tires, brakes, alternator and water pump and the routine but FULL and THROUGH services such as plugs, filters, and maybe valve lash etc. Now that is impressive for any gas engine.
