some years ago ford bought a small percentage of cummins and a couple years later sold it back. when CDC was formed and the new plant built, cummins and case sat down and each one laid half of the money on the table.each one owns 50% of company.case takes out all the engines they use. cummins sells to whoever wants to buy them.this was OK.with case,they got 50 cents of every dollar sold.the case people were telling that story at the big farm show at Allaman Ia. back then.
