E85 is 85% ethanol, not 15% ethanol, 85% gasoline. If you tried running E85 in a car that was not designed for it,.....you will have problems. Like paul says, MN has had 10% ethanol mandated, now going to 20%- you will have no problems running that fuel in today's engines. If you try to run E85 in today's engines, not those designed for E85, then you will have problems. In your post you talk about E85....being 85% gas, 15% ethanol.....it is EXACTLY opposite......85% is ethanol, 15% is gasoline.
