As long as there is nothing wrong in the tranny or rear end or steering you can do that. I have 2N and 9N and have a tow bar for both and will pull them at up to 20-25 MPH but you have to have good tight steering for that and if the steering is correct you do not need anybody on tractor with the tow bar. Also did that with the NAA. and TO-30 that used to have. Also used to have a toung perment mounted on 38 A John Deere and now I have a tow dolly for narrow front wheel tractors. If you don't have that tow bar for the Ford and have far to go try to find a car tow dolly and use it.
