It is amazing what passes in some peoples book as good trailering. I think most use the vertical pedal method of load testing: If you can push the gass and it goes forward, you're good to go.

On a trailering side note, I saw alot of people hauling empty trailers this weekend. Gas around here is down over a buck from peak. I guess people figured it was cheap enough that they wanted to haul their trailer again, but not cheap enough to actually load it up;)
