As John T says, check out the reason for it stopping, before you do anything else.
If you have a good, strong, blue spark, you are simply wasting your money, time and effort in changing the coil.
An even more expensive way would be buy another tractor, fit that suspect coil, and see if the problem occurs still! I know I would rather do a few simple checks first!!
