An Exide Orbital or Optima spiral cell AGM battery is a sealed unit that will not leak any corrosive fumes or acid unless severly overcharged. With this type of battery you will never have a corroded terminal or corrosion around a restored tractor battery compartment. These battery's have great cranking power and very long life,I have One optima in a pickup that is 15 years old and still cranks like new. They are an install it and forget it battery with the exception that they will not tolerate overcharging. An hour on an unregulated fast charger,or a bad generator or alternator system that puts out over 15 volts will quickly gas off the electrolyte and ruin the battery.
