we´ve had a Deutz F2L514, a Deutz D 4005 and a SAME Centurion 75 all with aircooled engines and never had any fire probs with them. That an aircooled tractorengine can go up in fire is rubbish. You can´t compare a harvesting machine with a tractor, even no Wisconsin with a Deutz. Fire in combines or balers mostly is caused in a weak bearing and the times of motorized balers are long gone. Back to the thread: Rob is right, by advising the 06 or 07 range. Especially me would go with the D 5206 ( former D5506) or with the D 6206 (former D 6006) even D 5506 and D 6006 would be a good choice. They have been around here in lots abd a lot of them survived on farms, which own them since over 25 years.
