Ford sold its tractor division along with New Holland to Fiat many years ago. A few years ago Fiat bought Case-IH as well, that is why we now have CNH or Case-New Holland. You will notice that their smaller tractors(not the compact line) are no longer the decendants of the old Ford line. They are out of the Fiat design shop and they have Red twins at the Former Case-IH dealers. The Compact New Holland tractors are still produced by the Asian manufacturer that made Ford's compacts for many years. The IH and Case-IH compacts were made by Mitsubishi which produces them for Cub Cadet. A few of the compact Mahindras are also the Mitsubishi design. There was a time when IH and Ford tractors were built and marketed in as many countries in the world as any other brand, now their empires have been split up and parted out. I will just stop now the story is just too sad.
