Have you looked into a bale bed for a 4x4 pickup. We have a Deweze made in Harper KS. It will pick up a 1800 pound round bale. You can put the bale into a round feeder direct or roll out a whole or partial bale on grass. Comes with Pioneer female bodies at the rear bumper so you can hitch up machinery and lift its hydraulics and pull it just like a tractor down the road. There is a used on in our local farm paper called Grass and Grain. E-mail back and I can get you the phone number if you are interested.
