overstressed engine

The latest Fendt 936 has a 7.1 liter Deutz producing 360 hp (european so measured at engine ) how can they get such power out of that capacity while keeping the Fendt reputation for long life ie. 10,000 hour+ wrench free . My JD 4430 produces 150 gross hp from 6.7 liters
