It's a tooth for a spike tooth cylinder. They were common in threshing machines and some older combines. Neighbor had an RD31 McCormack Deering combine with spike tooth cylinder. He picked up a rock and it broke off a bunch of teeth. They replaced them, but hired man left the special HD spud wrench laying on the canvas when he started up the machine. That old wrench took out more teeth than the rock did. I was just a young fellow, so I heard a lot of new words that day that I'd never heard before!
