Nice looking horse. If he has a King Ranch background with probably a Mr San Peppy / Leo bloodline...he's one fine animal.
As far as digging holes; do yourself a favor and buy a nice used skidsteer with cab and heater. Add a good posthole digger, and it will drill a hole anywhere you want, and it will turn out to be the handiest thing on the place.
And once your Wife decides to operate it, she will spend more time on that than the horse! (And the last statement comes from seeing it happen on our place.)
