I have a JD4010 D with loader. If it has original hyd cylinders on the loader they might be weak, I had to replace mine, $$$, but now picks up 5 x 5 round bales no problem. Also I use mine for all disc mowing for hay and nothing bogs it down at all, heavy grass or uphill. That old diesel really pulls. However, it is warm weather only machine, it does not like to start in winter at all. It is our second tractor, I couldn"t trust it to be our #1 for 300acre cattle farm, ours is a 1961!
