I wouldn't buy one either, but I have to tell the only flooded tractor story I know. Back before I was born, an 8N caught fire on my grandpa's farm. The only thing they could think to do to put the fire out was push the thing into the canal with a truck. The canal was 40' wide and 20' deep. After pulling the heap out of the water they repaired the damaged wiring, flushed all the fluids and they were still using it when I was a teenager. All the plastic was burned off the steering wheel and there was not a spec of paint on it anywhere, but it ran. It had a loader on it and was used to clear manure out of the corral where the cows waited to be milked. I guess the moral of the story is if the tractor is pre-historic enough it may withstand a good dunking.....or maybe don't buy a flooded tractor unless it's also been burned!
