Yes we found that in the initial cleaning, but it appears that the numbers weren't stamped on and got rubbed off, I can't make out any numbers. The rest of the tag is in great shape considering how long it was down there. All it says is where it was made and lists a few patent numbers. I wish I had a picture of it. I didn't think that many boat motors back then had forward and reverse like this one does. I thought that might set it apart from other models. Mike
