Hi BSer,one sip from that old tank would have you pretty sick.If you choose to go with a large plastic tank,it probbably would be a good idea to add a small amount of chlorine to kill any bacteria and prevent alge from growing;don't know how much though,better ask someone who can better answer that part.Good luck and don't drink water from fuel tanks.
