i have hauled cars before and the rule of thumb would be to chain the axles down and chain them down until there was pudge technical term in the tires. this would allow the air int he tire to cushion the bumps. if you just throw some hooks aroudn the tow hooks and pull the body down that will create flat spots int he wheel bearings not on a 6 mi trip but for those others who are reading this andd riving more.
