THe shifter on my Case 800 has, what I think, is a lot of slop. I"m comparing this to The Case 730 which has pretty tight shift with a nice snap/click into each gear. Is the sloppy shifter due to the shifter, the yokes or the gears? I looked (as best I could) thru the holes between the trans and differential houseing with the differential cover off. from what I could see the gears looked ok but the egdes of the gears looked like the corners radially(where they would first mesh with the next gear) had been filed off. is this wear or were they made like that? If it is wear is it a problem? (haven"t opened the 730 cover yet). Any info/help/advise is appreciated. thanks
