Fire Ants

What are you folks useing to control fire ants? I have about 3 acres (non cropland)that they are starting to be a problem. Sevin has a new product out this year,but will be kind of expensive for an area this size. How about the regular farm chemicals,any luck with these. The ortho will just make them pack up and start another mound. I know there's no way to get completely rid of them,just want to know how y'all are dealing with them. Thanks
