I finally got the Farmall M that I bought last week home. It was being very stubborn and didn't wont to leave. I had to explain to it that his current owner couldn't keep him anymore, and that I had two young boys and a teenage daughter who are all exited about him joining the family, even Momma is looking forward to it, and we all promise to take good care of him and get him looking and running good again so he can be proud. So finally he gave in and we loaded him on the trailer and brought him home. Hey Rusty Farmall-- The car hauler didn't work either. The tongue said it was rated for 10,000lbs but I hardly doubt thats right. When the weight of the tractor was on the ramps. the back of the trailer (which sits low) dropped all the way to the ground. We could not pull the tractor far enough forward to put any weight on the tongue, due to the tractor tires hitting the fenders on the trailer. Its was'nt safe and it showed so we backed off again an went to plan C. So finally I asked my barber to help. He has an 8x40 gooseneck with 3 ramps so it hauled it easily. That is once we got it on the trailer. Thanks everyone for earlier responses. and thanks to Jerry and Jerry Jr. for the help last night. Now I guess the rest is up to me to get it running.
