I was a licenced 1st class hydronic engineer in north west Ia. licenced for 601 H.P. and above. you may want to check with the city/county you live in. they went by PSI and HP there are or was in 1969, four levels 3rd class, 2nd class 1st class and cheif engineer and if they have not changed the regulations you have to have so much time in/or experence for the class of licence you are applying for and be recommened by a member of the board of Engineers, also anything over 25 psi needed a licence. now this was in 1969 and I no longer live in Ia so the regulations may or may not have changed. Best check with the city/county that you reside in Good Luck Jer
