Ususally things are pretty green thru the 4th of July. From there on tho, things just burn up due to the lack of moisture.

Consequently, the whole area has adapted with cool, short season grasses which have all gone to seed by now.

Just had some boys out setting a new well and in their trenching and so forth, they never did hit any moisture.

It is just a dry country. :>(
