Makes no sense to me ! But after working at a GM dealer for about 7 years now nothing GM does makes any sense !
Go with a gooseneck unless you plan on putting a camper in the truck and hauling stuff around too. Even then I would look into a longer gooseneck and putting the camper on it ? Once you pull a gooseneck I don't think you would ever go back to a bumper pull they really are that much better.
