O/T..Pellet stoves burning corn....

Anyone have experience burning corn in a Whitfield pellet stove? Instructions say not to do it. (I really think it has to do with Whitfield not wanting to go to the expense of testing thier stove and getting EPA approval or meeting some such BS approval). I see stories of users mixing corn and wood pellets. Lots of corn grown in this area and it's sure cheaper than pellets. Need to help the farmers that's for sure.
