Allan, my trailer looks a lot like yours, and mine is set to ride level loaded or empty. If the trailer is loaded properly, it will ride level no matter how much you put on it. You have already noticed how much better a gooseneck pulls compared to a bumper hitch, it will be the same no matter if it is loaded, empty, on the road, or out in the field. Here's a hint, always make sure that the heaviest part of the load is over the trailer axles, any other way and you will experience a less than desirable ride.
